एवं निश्चित्य मनसा सूर्यवारेण सप्तमी । यदाऽयाता द्विजश्रेष्ठास्तदा चाष्टोत्तरं शतम्
evaṃ niścitya manasā sūryavāreṇa saptamī | yadā'yātā dvijaśreṣṭhāstadā cāṣṭottaraṃ śatam
Setelah demikian menetapkan tekad dalam batin, ketika tithi saptamī jatuh pada hari Minggu dan para brāhmaṇa utama telah tiba, maka upacara berlangsung dengan hitungan suci seratus delapan.
