अन्धकोऽपि हरं दृष्ट्वा युद्धार्थं संमुखो ययौ । ततो युद्धं समभवदंधकस्य हरेण तु । वृत्रवासवयोः पूर्वं यथा युद्धमभून्महत्
andhako'pi haraṃ dṛṣṭvā yuddhārthaṃ saṃmukho yayau | tato yuddhaṃ samabhavadaṃdhakasya hareṇa tu | vṛtravāsavayoḥ pūrvaṃ yathā yuddhamabhūnmahat
Andhaka pun, melihat Hara, maju lurus menghadapnya demi pertempuran. Maka terjadilah perang besar antara Andhaka dan Hara—laksana dahsyatnya pertempuran dahulu antara Vṛtra dan Vāsava (Indra).
