व्यास उवाच । गृहस्थधर्मरिक्तानां पितृवाक्यं प्रणश्यति । पितृवाक्यं तु यो मोहान्नैव सम्यक्समाचरेत् । स याति नरकं तस्मान्मद्वाक्यात्पुत्र मा व्रज
vyāsa uvāca | gṛhasthadharmariktānāṃ pitṛvākyaṃ praṇaśyati | pitṛvākyaṃ tu yo mohānnaiva samyaksamācaret | sa yāti narakaṃ tasmānmadvākyātputra mā vraja
Vyāsa bersabda: “Bagi mereka yang kosong dari dharma grihastha, titah ayah kehilangan daya. Namun siapa karena moha tidak melaksanakan perintah ayah dengan semestinya, ia menuju neraka. Maka, wahai putraku, jangan pergi melawan sabdaku.”
