Maka, wahai putraku, jangan pergi melawan sabdaku.”
Vyāsa
Listener: his son (unnamed in the verse)
Scene: Vyāsa speaks firmly, warning of hell for neglecting a father’s command born of delusion, while also noting that for those outside householder duties the injunction may lose force—an intense ethical teaching moment.
Purāṇic dharma upholds reverence to parental instruction, especially within social duties, warning against delusion-born disobedience.
No tīrtha is named; the verse is ethical instruction within the broader māhātmya narrative.
No specific rite; it emphasizes gṛhastha-dharma and obedience to paternal injunctions.
