ततश्च गर्हयामास स्त्रीणां जन्म महामुनिः । तस्मिन्पीठे समासाद्य दुःखेन महताऽन्वितः
tataśca garhayāmāsa strīṇāṃ janma mahāmuniḥ | tasminpīṭhe samāsādya duḥkhena mahatā'nvitaḥ
Kemudian sang mahāmuni mulai mencela kelahiran sebagai perempuan. Tiba di pīṭha suci itu, ia diliputi duka yang amat dalam.
