मार्गशीर्षेऽथ संप्राप्ते तृतीयादिवसे सिते । तां देवीं पूजयामास वर्षं यावकृतक्षणा
mārgaśīrṣe'tha saṃprāpte tṛtīyādivase site | tāṃ devīṃ pūjayāmāsa varṣaṃ yāvakṛtakṣaṇā
Kemudian, ketika bulan Mārgaśīrṣa tiba—pada hari ketiga paruh terang—ia mulai memuja Sang Dewi itu dan meneruskannya selama genap satu tahun, menepati waktu-waktu yang ditetapkan dalam kaulnya.
