किमर्थं च समाचक्ष्व सूतपुत्रात्र विस्तरात् । कौतुकं परमं जातं सर्वेषां नो द्विजन्मनाम्
kimarthaṃ ca samācakṣva sūtaputrātra vistarāt | kautukaṃ paramaṃ jātaṃ sarveṣāṃ no dvijanmanām
Dan karena alasan apakah hal itu terjadi? Jelaskanlah di sini dengan rinci, wahai putra Sūta; dalam diri kami semua yang dwija telah bangkit rasa ingin tahu yang amat besar.
