सूत उवाच । न मात्रा तत्कृतं नाम न विप्रैः सचिवैर्नृप । तत्कृतं देवदूतेन व्योमस्थेन द्विजोत्तमाः

sūta uvāca | na mātrā tatkṛtaṃ nāma na vipraiḥ sacivairnṛpa | tatkṛtaṃ devadūtena vyomasthena dvijottamāḥ

Sūta berkata: “Wahai raja, nama itu bukan diberikan oleh sang ibu, bukan pula oleh para brāhmaṇa atau para menteri. Nama itu dianugerahkan oleh seorang utusan ilahi yang berada di angkasa, wahai yang terbaik di antara para dwija.”
