अथ सीता परित्यक्ता तथा भ्राता स लक्ष्मणः । यदर्थं तत्र संप्राप्तः स्वयमेव द्विजोत्तमाः
atha sītā parityaktā tathā bhrātā sa lakṣmaṇaḥ | yadarthaṃ tatra saṃprāptaḥ svayameva dvijottamāḥ
Demikianlah Sītā telah disingkirkan, dan saudaraku Lakṣmaṇa pun demikian. Untuk maksud itulah aku sendiri datang ke sini, wahai yang utama di antara para dwija.
