राम उवाच । नाहं गृहं गमिष्यामि लक्ष्मणेन विनाऽधुना । प्राणानत्र विहास्यामि यथा तेन महात्मना
rāma uvāca | nāhaṃ gṛhaṃ gamiṣyāmi lakṣmaṇena vinā'dhunā | prāṇānatra vihāsyāmi yathā tena mahātmanā
Rāma berkata: ‘Kini aku tidak akan pulang tanpa Lakṣmaṇa. Aku akan melepaskan nyawaku di sini, sebagaimana sang mahātmā itu telah melakukannya.’
