चंडेन वै पुष्कसेन सफलं तस्य चाभवत् । प्रसंगेनापि तेनैव कृतं तच्चाल्पबुद्धिना
caṃḍena vai puṣkasena saphalaṃ tasya cābhavat | prasaṃgenāpi tenaiva kṛtaṃ taccālpabuddhinā
Sungguh, oleh Caṇḍa—yakni Puṣkasena—perbuatan itu menjadi berbuah baginya. Walau dilakukan hanya karena kebetulan oleh orang yang berakal kecil, tetap saja ia menghasilkan pahala.
