Transliteration

iti vākyaguṇānāṃ ca vāgdoṣāndvinava śrṛṇu | apetārthamabhinnārthamapavṛttaṃ tathādhikam

Translation

Demikianlah telah disebutkan kualitas-kualitas suatu pernyataan; kini dengarkan delapan belas cacat ucapan: ‘tanpa makna’, ‘tanpa makna yang jelas’, ‘menyimpang dari pokok bahasan’, dan ‘terlalu berlebihan’, dan seterusnya.
