मातः स्वसरथो पुत्रि आर्येति च वदेद्बुधः । उचछिष्टो नालभेत्किंचिन्न च सूर्यं विलोकयेत्
mātaḥ svasaratho putri āryeti ca vadedbudhaḥ | ucachiṣṭo nālabhetkiṃcinna ca sūryaṃ vilokayet
Orang bijak hendaknya menyapa (para perempuan) dengan hormat sebagai ‘Ibu’, ‘Saudari’, ‘Putri’, atau ‘Āryā (wanita mulia)’. Dalam keadaan uchiṣṭa (sisa makan/ketidak-sucian), jangan menyentuh apa pun dan jangan menatap matahari.
