Skanda Purana — Mahesvara Khanda, Shloka 92

पश्यमानः प्रफुल्लाक्षो वह्निः कामवशं गतः । स भूयश्चिंतयामास न न्याय्यं क्षुभितोऽस्मि यत्

paśyamānaḥ praphullākṣo vahniḥ kāmavaśaṃ gataḥ | sa bhūyaściṃtayāmāsa na nyāyyaṃ kṣubhito'smi yat

Sambil memandang dengan mata yang terpesona, Agni jatuh di bawah kuasa kama (nafsu). Lalu ia berulang-ulang merenung: “Tidak patut aku menjadi segelisah ini.”
