इति वीरेश्वराख्यानं तीर्थाख्यानप्रसंगतः । कथितं ते पुरागस्ते कामेशं कथयाम्यतः

iti vīreśvarākhyānaṃ tīrthākhyānaprasaṃgataḥ | kathitaṃ te purāgaste kāmeśaṃ kathayāmyataḥ

Demikianlah, dalam rangka kisah tentang tīrtha-tīrtha, telah kukisahkan kepadamu, wahai Agastya, riwayat Vīreśvara. Kini sesudah itu akan kunarasikan kemuliaan Kāmeśa.
