Transliteration

hastamātramite kuṃḍe jātavedasa ityṛcā | ghṛtena madhunāplutya juhuyānmaṃtraviddvijaḥ

Translation

Dalam kund (lubang api) yang berukuran sejengkal tangan, sang brāhmaṇa yang menguasai mantra hendaknya mempersembahkan ahuti, dengan melantunkan ṛcā Ṛgveda yang bermula “Jātavedasa…”, seraya menuangkan ghee dan madu.
