Skanda bersabda: Wahai Ilvalāra, dengarkan sebuah kisah—jadilah waspada dan penuh perhatian. Di tepi Varaṇā yang elok, pada masa lampau terjadi peristiwa yang mulia; dengarkanlah itu.
