Semoga aku menjadi pincang untuk mendekati selain Engkau, dan menjadi buta untuk memandang selain Engkau. Wahai Bhavānīśa, Engkaulah Yang Esa; Engkaulah satu-satunya Pelaku.
Jaigīṣavya (addressing Śiva)
Tirtha: Kāśī (Avimukta)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A pilgrim with a staff stands at a crossroads in Kāśī lanes; all side paths fade into darkness while one radiant path leads to a Śiva shrine; the pilgrim’s eyes are gently veiled, symbolizing ‘blind to other sights,’ and feet bound to the single path.
The verse teaches exclusive reliance on Śiva and the insight that all agency ultimately belongs to the One Lord.
Kāśī is the implied sacred setting, where devotion culminates in recognition of Śiva’s singular lordship.
None; it is a devotional resolve (inner vrata) of turning away from all distractions.
