दंतकेशांबरादीनि नित्यं शोध्यानि यत्नतः । अनिष्टचिंता नो कार्या व्रतिना हृद्यपि क्वचित्

daṃtakeśāṃbarādīni nityaṃ śodhyāni yatnataḥ | aniṣṭaciṃtā no kāryā vratinā hṛdyapi kvacit

Gigi, rambut, pakaian, dan sebagainya hendaknya disucikan setiap hari dengan sungguh-sungguh. Seorang pelaku vrata jangan sekali-kali menaruh pikiran buruk atau tidak suci—bahkan di dalam hati—pada waktu apa pun.
