Transliteration

pāpāṃdhakārasaṃkruddhaḥ kārtike dīpadānataḥ | krodhāṃdhakāritamukhaṃ bhāskariṃ sa na vīkṣate

Translation

Ia yang terkungkung oleh kegelapan dosa, melalui persembahan pelita pada bulan Kārttika, tidak lagi memandang sang Surya yang wajahnya terselubung oleh kegelapan amarah.
