Transliteration

aho janānāṃ jaḍatā vihāya kāśīṃ yadanyatra na yaṃti cetaḥ | parisphuradgāṃgajalābhirāmāṃ kāmāriśūlāgradhṛtāṃ layepi

Translation

Aduhai, betapa tumpulnya manusia: meninggalkan Kāśī, batin mereka melayang ke tempat lain—Kāśī yang elok oleh gemerlap air Gaṅgā, dan yang bahkan saat pralaya pun ditopang di ujung trisula Śiva, musuh Kāma.
