Transliteration

tadadattā kathaṃ svairamahamanyaṃ varaṃ vṛṇe | vṛtopi na kulīnaścedguṇavānna ca śīlavān

Translation

“Karena aku belum pernah dianugerahkan dalam pernikahan, bagaimana mungkin aku sesuka hati memilih suami lain? Dan sekalipun kupilih, apa gunanya bila ia bukan dari keturunan mulia, tidak berbudi, dan tidak berkelakuan baik?”
