tridaṃḍādi yateruktamupalakṣaṇamatra vai | etallakṣaṇahīnastu prāyaścittī dine dine

Di sini telah disebutkan tanda-tanda seorang yati (pertapa), seperti tri-daṇḍa dan lainnya. Namun siapa yang tanpa ciri-ciri itu hendaknya melakukan prāyaścitta hari demi hari.
