Transliteration

brahmalokastu lokānāṃ sarveṣāmuttamo yathā | saritāṃ sarasāṃ vāpi variṣṭhā jāhnavī tathā

Translation

Sebagaimana Brahmaloka adalah yang tertinggi di antara segala loka, demikian pula Jāhnavī (Gaṅgā) adalah yang paling utama di antara sungai-sungai, bahkan di antara telaga dan danau.
