शिवशर्मोवाच । कियद्दूरे वयं प्राप्ता गंतव्यं च कियत्पुनः । पृच्छाम्यन्यच्च वां भद्रौ ब्रूतं प्रीत्या तदप्यहो
śivaśarmovāca | kiyaddūre vayaṃ prāptā gaṃtavyaṃ ca kiyatpunaḥ | pṛcchāmyanyacca vāṃ bhadrau brūtaṃ prītyā tadapyaho
Śivaśarman berkata: Sejauh mana kita telah sampai, dan berapa jauh lagi yang harus ditempuh? Wahai para mulia, aku bertanya hal lain juga—sampaikanlah itu pula dengan kasih dan kelembutan.
