nāmamātrasmṛteryasya prayāgasya trikālataḥ | smartuḥ śarīre no jātu pāpaṃ vasati kutracit
Barangsiapa mengingat Prayāga walau hanya dengan menyebut namanya—pada tiga waktu (pagi, siang, dan senja)—maka dosa takkan pernah berdiam di mana pun dalam tubuhnya.
Skanda
Tirtha: Prayāga
Type: sangam
Listener: null
Scene: A devotee at three times of day—dawn, midday sun, twilight—folds hands facing flowing rivers; the word ‘Prayāga’ appears as a luminous script entering the heart, while dark ‘pāpa’ shadows dissolve from the body.
Sacred remembrance (smaraṇa) itself is a purifying practice; devotion to a supreme tīrtha like Prayāga is said to cleanse sin even without physical travel.
Prayāga is glorified, with emphasis on the efficacy of merely remembering its name.
Tri-kāla smaraṇa—remembering Prayāga at the three daily times—is implied as a devotional discipline.
