Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 77

सत्यप्रतिज्ञास्त्रैविद्या भजंतु रामशासनम् । अस्माकं तु परं देहि स्थानं यत्र वसामहे

satyapratijñāstraividyā bhajaṃtu rāmaśāsanam | asmākaṃ tu paraṃ dehi sthānaṃ yatra vasāmahe

Biarlah mereka yang setia pada janji kebenaran, para pengenal tiga Weda, berbakti di bawah śāsana dharma Śrī Rāma. Namun bagi kami, anugerahkanlah tempat tinggal yang lebih luhur—sebuah kediaman tetap tempat kami menetap.
