Skanda Purana — Avanti Khanda, Shloka 4

ततस्त्वेकार्णवीभूते सर्वतः सलिलावृते । जगत्कृत्वोदरे सर्वं सुष्वाप भगवान्हरः

tatastvekārṇavībhūte sarvataḥ salilāvṛte | jagatkṛtvodare sarvaṃ suṣvāpa bhagavānharaḥ

Kemudian, ketika segala sesuatu menjadi satu samudra raya dan tertutup air dari segala arah, Bhagavān Hara (Śiva), setelah menampung seluruh jagat di dalam perut-Nya, berbaring dalam tidur.
