kulānāṃ tārayedviṃśaṃ daśa pūrvān daśāparān | dakṣiṇasyāṃ tato mūrtau śucirbhūtvā samāhitaḥ
Ia menyelamatkan dua puluh garis keturunan—sepuluh generasi terdahulu dan sepuluh generasi sesudahnya. Lalu, setelah suci dan batin terpusat, hendaknya mengarahkan ritus kepada wujud selatan (arah Pitṛ).
