निहन्मि दानवं यावत्साहाय्यं कुरु सुन्दरि । एवमुक्ता तु सा दुर्गा पपौ च रुधिरं ततः
nihanmi dānavaṃ yāvatsāhāyyaṃ kuru sundari | evamuktā tu sā durgā papau ca rudhiraṃ tataḥ
“Selagi aku membunuh Dānava itu, wahai jelita, berilah pertolongan.” Setelah demikian diucapkan, Durgā pun segera meminum darah itu.
