Skanda Purana — Avanti Khanda, Shloka 8
देवा ऊचुः । जयामेय जयाभेद जय सम्भूतिकारक । पद्मयोने सुरश्रेष्ठ त्वां वयं शरणं गताः
devā ūcuḥ | jayāmeya jayābheda jaya sambhūtikāraka | padmayone suraśreṣṭha tvāṃ vayaṃ śaraṇaṃ gatāḥ
Para dewa berkata: “Jaya bagimu, wahai Yang tak terkalahkan—jaya, sumber segala perwujudan! Wahai Padmayoni, yang utama di antara para sura, kami berlindung padamu.”
