अस्ति घोरो महावीर्यो दानवो बलदर्पितः । बाणो नामेति विख्यातो यस्य तत्त्रिपुरं महत्
asti ghoro mahāvīryo dānavo baladarpitaḥ | bāṇo nāmeti vikhyāto yasya tattripuraṃ mahat
Ada seorang Dānava yang mengerikan, sangat perkasa, mabuk oleh kesombongan kekuatannya—terkenal dengan nama Bāṇa. Miliknya kota agung itu yang disebut Tripura.
