Skanda Purana — Avanti Khanda, Shloka 18
बटुरुवाच । यथान्ये बालकाः स्नाताः शुश्रूषन्ति ह्यहर्निशम् । तथाहं बटुभिः सार्धं शुश्रूषामि न संशयः
baṭuruvāca | yathānye bālakāḥ snātāḥ śuśrūṣanti hyaharniśam | tathāhaṃ baṭubhiḥ sārdhaṃ śuśrūṣāmi na saṃśayaḥ
Sang murid berkata: “Sebagaimana para bālak lainnya—setelah menunaikan upacara harian—melayani siang dan malam, demikian pula aku, bersama para bāṭu lainnya, akan berbakti tanpa ragu.”
