पर्यटसे किमर्थं त्वं निशीये वहनं नु किम् । क्षिप्तं तु झोलिकाभारं किंवागमनकारणम् । व्यथामुत्पाद्य ऋषये दुःखाद्दुःखविलासिनि
paryaṭase kimarthaṃ tvaṃ niśīye vahanaṃ nu kim | kṣiptaṃ tu jholikābhāraṃ kiṃvāgamanakāraṇam | vyathāmutpādya ṛṣaye duḥkhādduḥkhavilāsini
“Mengapa engkau berkeliaran pada malam hari? Apa yang engkau bawa? Mengapa engkau menjatuhkan beban buntalanmu? Apa sebab kedatanganmu ke sini—setelah menimbulkan derita bagi seorang resi, wahai engkau yang bersenang dalam duka di atas duka?”
