एवं स्तुत्वा च देवेशं दानवान्तकरं हरिम् । पुनरुक्तेन वै स्नात्वा ततो विप्रांस्तु भोजयेत्
evaṃ stutvā ca deveśaṃ dānavāntakaraṃ harim | punaruktena vai snātvā tato viprāṃstu bhojayet
Demikianlah setelah memuji Dewa para dewa, Hari sang pemusnah Dānava, hendaknya ia mandi kembali dengan japa yang ditetapkan, lalu menjamu para brāhmaṇa dengan santapan suci.
Narratorial/Instructional voice within Revākhaṇḍa (deduced)
Tirtha: Revā-tīrtha (implied)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A didactic ‘two-panel’ depiction: first, stuti to Hari at the river; second, re-snāna with mantra; third, brāhmaṇas being fed—showing the canonical closure repeated for emphasis.
Devotion at a tīrtha is to be sealed with dharma—purification and charitable hospitality to brāhmaṇas.
The Revā/Narmadā tīrtha sphere is the implied locus of the rite.
Repeat-recitation bathing (punarukta-snāna) followed by vipra-bhojana.
