दौर्भाग्यं दुर्गतिश्चैव दारिद्र्यं शोकबन्धनम् । वन्ध्यत्वं सप्तजन्मानि जायते न युधिष्ठिर

Transliteration

daurbhāgyaṃ durgatiścaiva dāridryaṃ śokabandhanam | vandhyatvaṃ saptajanmāni jāyate na yudhiṣṭhira

Translation

Wahai Yudhiṣṭhira, bila dharma ini dilanggar, timbullah kemalangan dan jalan hidup yang sengsara, kemiskinan dan belenggu duka—bahkan kemandulan hingga tujuh kelahiran.
