FAQs

It highlights the Purāṇic idea that cosmic order is maintained through divine communication and right knowledge: Brahmā acts with informed clarity, showing that dharma is guided by accurate awareness rather than speculation.

Though the verse does not mention the Liṅga directly, it supports the Saguna framework of the Shiva Purana where devas function as instruments within Śiva’s cosmic governance—events unfold through empowered beings like Vāyu, reinforcing devotion to the Lord who is the ultimate Pati behind all agencies.

The implied practice is śravaṇa (reverent listening) and smaraṇa (mindful recollection) of sacred accounts—approaching Shiva-kathā with attentiveness, as true understanding arises when the mind is aligned with trustworthy spiritual testimony.
