शिवस्य विश्वव्याप्तिः—अष्टमूर्तिः पञ्चब्रह्म च | Śiva’s Cosmic Pervasion: Aṣṭamūrti and the Pañcabrahma Forms
संजीवनं समस्तस्य जगतस्सलिलात्मिका । भावीति गीयते मूर्तिभवस्य परमात्मनः । बहिरंतर्गता विश्वं व्याप्य तेजोमयी शुभा । रौद्री रुद्राव्यया मूर्तिरास्थिता घोररूपिणी
saṃjīvanaṃ samastasya jagatassalilātmikā | bhāvīti gīyate mūrtibhavasya paramātmanaḥ | bahiraṃtargatā viśvaṃ vyāpya tejomayī śubhā | raudrī rudrāvyayā mūrtirāsthitā ghorarūpiṇī
Ia adalah daya penghidup seluruh jagat, bersifat air. Karena itu ia dipuji sebagai “Bhāvī”, śakti Sang Paramātman yang memanifestasikan wujud. Ia meresapi alam semesta, luar dan dalam, bercahaya mulia dan membawa keberkahan; sebagai Rudrā yang tak binasa, berwujud Roudrī, ia berdiri dalam rupa yang dahsyat.
