Vyāsotpatti-kathana

Account of the Birth/Origin of Vyāsa

सकारणेयमुत्पत्तिः कथिताश्चर्य्यकारिणी । महतां चरिते चैव गुणा ग्राह्या विचक्षणैः

sakāraṇeyamutpattiḥ kathitāścaryyakāriṇī | mahatāṃ carite caiva guṇā grāhyā vicakṣaṇaiḥ

Demikianlah kisah asal-usul yang menakjubkan ini, beserta sebab-sebabnya, telah dituturkan. Dalam laku para mahātmā, hendaknya orang bijak menangkap dan meneladani kebajikan mereka.
