FAQs

It teaches that sincere devotion yields appropriate fruits: for the seeker of puṣṭi (wholesome increase), divine grace manifests as stability, nourishment, and auspicious growth—supporting dharma and inner steadiness.

In Saguna worship—such as honoring the Śiva-liṅga with faith—the devotee approaches the Lord as the compassionate giver of boons; this verse summarizes the phala (result) that such worship can confer upon a qualified seeker.

A practical takeaway is regular Śiva-pūjā with mantra-japa (especially pañcākṣarī, “oṃ namaḥ śivāya”) and disciplined offering (water, bilva), performed with sattvic intent for upliftment rather than mere indulgence.
