Vāyu-jaya (Prāṇa-vijaya) and Yogic Mastery over Time — वायुजय (प्राणविजय) तथा कालजय

Cosmic Event: cyclical motion of grahas contrasted with yogic non-return (inner absorption beyond recurrence)
It contrasts cosmic cyclicity (the grahas continually revolving) with the steadfastness of realized yogins whose awareness remains absorbed in the Lord, pointing to liberation beyond recurring return.
In Shaiva practice, Linga-worship begins as Saguna devotion and matures into inward dhyāna where the mind no longer “returns” to outward wandering, becoming steady in Shiva as the inner Self and Lord (Pati).
Sustained dhyāna and yogic steadiness—supported by japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and inner concentration on Shiva—so the mind does not revert to distraction.
