शिवतेजसः समुद्रे बालरूपप्रादुर्भावः (Śiva’s Tejas Manifesting as a Child in the Ocean)

अथो शिवस्य तत्तेजो भालनेत्रसमुद्भवम् । क्षिप्तं च लवणाम्भोधौ सद्यो बालत्वमाप ह

atho śivasya tattejo bhālanetrasamudbhavam | kṣiptaṃ ca lavaṇāmbhodhau sadyo bālatvamāpa ha

Lalu pancaran api suci milik Śiva, yang lahir dari mata di dahi-Nya, dilemparkan ke samudra asin; seketika itu juga ia menjelma menjadi seorang anak.
