एते सोमा अभि गव्या सहस्रा महे वाजायामृताय श्रवांसि । पवित्रेभिः पवमाना असृग्रञ्छ्रवस्यवो न पृतनाजो अत्याः ॥

Transliteration

eté sómā abhí gavyā́ sahásrā mahé vājā́yāmṛ́tāya śrávāṃsi | pavítrebhíḥ pavamānā asṛgran śravasyávo ná pṛtanā́jo átyāḥ ||

Translation

Soma-soma ini maju menuju sinar seribu-lipat, menuju kelimpahan besar daya, menuju keabadian dan menuju daya-daya pendengaran ilham. Dengan menyucikan diri melalui saringan-saringan, mereka mengalir keluar—mencari kemasyhuran bercahaya laksana penyerbu perang, kuda-kuda cepat.
