तमु ष्टवाम य इमा जजान विश्वा जातान्यवराण्यस्मात् । इन्द्रेण मित्रं दिधिषेम गीर्भिरुपो नमोभिर्वृषभं विशेम ॥

Transliteration

tám u stavāma yá imā́ jajā́na víśvā jātā́ny ávarāṇy asmā́t | índreṇa mitráṃ didhiṣema gī́rbhir úpo námo-bhir vṛ́ṣabhaṃ víśema ||

Translation

Kepada Dia kami melantunkan pujian—Dia yang melahirkan dunia-dunia ini dan segala yang lahir di bawah sini. Bersama Indra semoga kami menegakkan persahabatan melalui kidung-kidung ilham; dengan sujud penghormatan semoga kami memasuki Sang Banteng (Vṛṣabha), daya-keperkasaan-Nya, dan berdiam di dalamnya.
