Sukta 8.48

त्वं सोम पितृभिः संविदानोऽनु द्यावापृथिवी आ ततन्थ । तस्मै त इन्दो हविषा विधेम वयं स्याम पतयो रयीणाम् ॥

Transliteration

tvaṃ sóma pitṛ́bhiḥ saṃvidānáḥ ánū dyā́vāpṛthivī́ ā́ tatantha | tásmai te indo havíṣā vidhema vayáṃ syāma pátayo rayīṇā́m ||

Translation

Wahai Soma, dalam kesepahaman sadar bersama para Pitṛ, engkau telah membentangkan Langit dan Bumi pada jalannya. Kepada-Mu, wahai Indu, dengan persembahan kami, kami hendak berbakti; semoga kami menjadi tuan atas kekayaan—atas kelimpahan keberadaan.
