युवां नरा पश्यमानास आप्यं प्राचा गव्यन्तः पृथुपर्शवो ययुः । दासा च वृत्रा हतमार्याणि च सुदासमिन्द्रावरुणावसावतम् ॥

yuvā́ṃ narā páśyamānāsa ā́pyaṃ prācā́ gavyántaḥ pṛthú-parśavo yayuḥ | dā́sā ca vṛtrā́ hatám ā́ryāṇi ca sudā́sam indrāvaruṇā́vasāvatam ||

Wahai dua yang perkasa, wahai Indra–Varuṇa, melihat perairan yang tepat dan menghidupkan, kalian maju di hadapan, para pencari sinar-sinar (gavyant), berpinggang lebar dalam daya. Kalian menumbangkan rintangan Dāsa dan selubung Vṛtra; dan dengan kekuatan kalian kalian menolong Sudās, sang pemberi yang baik, serta pertumbuhan Ārya di dalam diri kami.
