प्र वो यज्ञेषु देवयन्तो अर्चन्द्यावा नमोभिः पृथिवी इषध्यै । येषां ब्रह्माण्यसमानि विप्रा विष्वग्वियन्ति वनिनो न शाखाः ॥

Transliteration

prá vo yajñéṣu devayánto arcann dyā́vā námobhiḥ pṛthivī́ iṣádhyai | yeṣā́m bráhmāṇy ásamāni víprā víṣvag víyanti vaníno ná śā́khāḥ ||

Translation

Dalam yajña-yajña, para ṛṣi yang mencari para dewa melantunkan pujian bagimu; dengan namas (tunduk-hormat) mereka meneguhkan Langit dan Bumi demi memperoleh dorongan (iṣā). Rumusan ilham mereka—tiada banding—mengembang ke segala arah, laksana dahan-dahan dari pohon yang hidup.
