यद्बंहिष्ठं नातिविधे सुदानू अच्छिद्रं शर्म भुवनस्य गोपा । तेन नो मित्रावरुणावविष्टं सिषासन्तो जिगीवांसः स्याम ॥

yád baṃhíṣṭhaṃ ná ati-vídhe sudānū́ ácchidraṃ śárma bhuvanásya gopā́ | téna no mitrāvaruṇāv aviṣṭaṃ siṣā́santo jigīvā́ṃsaḥ syāma ||

Wahai para dermawan, penjaga dunia: naungan yang paling luas itu—tak terlampaui, utuh tanpa cela—yang dengannya kalian melindungi semesta. Dengan naungan itu, wahai Mitra dan Varuṇa, lindungilah kami, agar kami yang terus mengarah maju menjadi para pemenang dalam hidup.
