त्वामिद्वृत्रहन्तम जनासो वृक्तबर्हिषः । उग्रं पूर्वीषु पूर्व्यं हवन्ते वाजसातये ॥
Transliteration
tvām íd vṛtrahántamam janā́so vṛktábarhiṣaḥ | ugráṁ pūrvī́ṣu pū́rvyaṁ hávante vājásātaye ||
Translation
Engkaulah sungguh, yang paling pembunuh Vṛtra, yang diseru oleh manusia-manusia yang menghamparkan rumput suci—kekuatan-Mu yang garang, purba di antara yang purba—demi perolehan vā́ja, kelimpahan daya kemenangan.
