अग्निस्तुविश्रवस्तमं तुविब्रह्माणमुत्तमम् । अतूर्तं श्रावयत्पतिं पुत्रं ददाति दाशुषे ॥

agnís tuviśrávastamaṃ tuví-brahmāṇam ut-tamáṃ | atū́rtaṃ śrāvayát-patiṃ putráṃ dadāti dāśúṣe ||

Agni menganugerahkan kepada sang pemberi seorang putra—yang paling termasyhur, kaya akan daya mantra, yang tertinggi; tak terkalahkan, seorang tuan yang membuat pendengaran akan kebenaran bergema (di dunia dan di dalam jiwa).
