Sukta 4.17
भिनद्गिरिं शवसा वज्रमिष्णन्नाविष्कृण्वानः सहसान ओजः । वधीद्वृत्रं वज्रेण मन्दसानः सरन्नापो जवसा हतवृष्णीः ॥
bhinád giríṃ śávasā vájram iṣṇánnā́viṣkṛṇvānáḥ sahasāná ójaḥ | vadhīd vṛtráṃ vájreṇa mandasānáḥ sárann ā́po jávasā hatá-vṛṣṇīḥ ||
Ia membelah gunung penghalang dengan daya kekuatannya, melemparkan vajra (petir), menyingkap yang tersembunyi dengan tenaga kemenangan. Ia membunuh Vṛtra dengan vajra dalam ekstase daya Soma; lalu Air-Airan melesat keluar dengan dorongan cepat, kekuatan penahan mereka telah dipukul jatuh.
